The Liposuction Breast Reduction Procedure
This technique is almost always an outpatient procedure, so you will be able to return home the same day as your surgical appointment. Using small, circular incisions underneath your breasts, Dr. Basner will insert a narrow surgical instrument known as a cannula to remove excess fat in your breasts.
Unlike the traditional breast reduction technique, the liposuction reduction technique does not include removal of excess skin. If you have large, heavy breasts that also sag and droop, then you likely will benefit from the traditional procedure. The liposuction procedure removes fat cells only.
