Brachioplasty

Brachioplasty, or arm lift surgery, is a cosmetic procedure that removes sagging, excess soft tissue from the upper arm as a result of massive weight loss or the natural aging process. Although liposuction alone may be an effective treatment option for the upper arm, most patients require a combination approach involving the surgical removal technique with liposuction.

Surgical incisions associated with arm lift surgery greatly depend on the extent of the treatment. Incisions are created on the back or inside of the arm and may be limited to the area where the arm joins the armpit or extend from the armpit to the elbow.
