Male Breast Reduction

Male breast reduction is a plastic surgery procedure used to treat a medical condition known as gynecomastia (enlarged male breasts). Gynecomastia, which accounts for more than 65 percent of all male breast disorders, can be caused by a wide range of factors, including genetics, hormonal imbalance, certain medical conditions and drugs.

Male breast reduction surgery involves the removal of the excess glandular tissue and fat through a small incision created on each side of the chest. The procedure can be performed through liposuction alone or a combination treatment that includes a surgical approach as well as the liposuction technique.
